总部设在美国的大牌公司超过了海外的竞争对手在本年度全球外包100强的评选中赢得前两名。全球外包100强是由国际外包专业人士协会进行的一年一度的世界上最佳外包服务提供商的专家排名。
埃森哲首次超过IBM成为头号外包服务提供商，IBM自本100强排名诞生以来曾连续3年位居榜首。
其中中国入选的企业有东软（Neusoft）、浪潮（Inspur）、博彦科技（Beyondsoft）、海辉（Hisoft）等。而印度有20家企业入选，分别是TCS、Infosys、Wipro、HCL、Genpact、WNS、EXLService、Patni、Quest、Mastek、First Source、24/7 Customer、ITC infotech等。
前10名中一半以上是印度公司，这反映了该国外包产业的强劲增长。 Infosys技术公司排名第三，它是年销售额6000万美元以上公司的代表。其他排名靠前的印度公司是，塔塔咨询服务公司、Wipro技术公司， Genpact和马恒达科技公司（Tech Mahindra）。
两家总部设在法国的公司，Sodexo 和 Capgemini也赢得了由公认的业界企业领导人组成的独立评估小组的认可而得到了靠前的排名。位于美国加利福尼亚州帕洛阿图市的惠普公司排名第8。
主持评定小组工作的国际外包专业人士协会常务董事Jagdish Dalal说：“外包业界的力量平衡正在发生变化。今年，有来自19个国家的企业参与排名的竞争，这反映了全球竞争的日趋加剧。”
在冉冉升起的新星企业名单中，有60%是总部设在美国以外的企业，这表明关注于未来的企业将来自于新兴国家。首次进入100强企业名单的包括中国的博彦公司、美国的LawScribe公司和俄罗斯的MERA NN公司。
这个排名还提供了一个独特的、快速了解产业现状的数据和资料，并揭示了该产业仍将继续保持快速增长的趋势。产业巨头们2007年的营业收入增长为24%，而上一年的增长比例为16 ％。这些巨型公司的平均年销售额为17亿美元，平均在全球有2.7万名雇员。
国际外包专业人士协会做此排名的目的，在于帮助业界企业用一种客观的方法对服务提供商进行比较。这个排名既包括业界的领头企业，也包括正在崛起的业界新星。另外，还有25个按地理区域、服务及产业类别进行排名的子榜单。
类似于意向申请过程，提出申请的公司是按照一个严格的评审程序，考察18项指标后，根据综合品质得分而进行排名的。最后的名次是根据企业所表现出的能力、规模和成长、管理能力和客户意见等几项指标的加权平均分值来排定的。
国际外包专业人士协会理事长Michael Corbett说：“发包企业每一次都在严格而仔细地审查他们的服务提供商，而我们的评委所用的这些评判标准和条件在业界鉴别顶尖服务商的过程中，日显重要。全球外包100强是一个全面和有用的指南，可以帮助企业对服务提供商进行研究和比较。”
IAOP 简介
国际外包专业协会（IAOP）与世界各地4万家企业、专业人士和协会成员正在努力通过外包转化全球经济。在这个上亿美元的项目中，客户级的成员平均每年负责6000万美元的投资用于这一项目的推进。
IAOP 通过专业标准和民族标准，认证的外包专业人员（COP）计划，包括世界顶级外包（The Outsourcing World Summit(R)）在内的教育计划，外包行业纪念（The Outsourcing Hall of Fame）和外包100强（The Global Outsourcing 100）的评定活动等来推动21世纪最重要的新兴管理领域--外包。
全球外包100强简介
全球外包100强（The Global Outsourcing 100），是国际外包专业协会（IAOP）每年评出的业界当今最好的外包服务提供商和明日成长明星的名单。这个名单将会发布在 IAOP 杂志4月30日的特别广告专版上和财富杂志2007年财富500中。这些公司必须论证他们在相应方面的优秀之处，比如公司规模、公司增长、客户经验、竞争力和管理能力。因为采用了非常严格的评审机制和流程，全球外包100强定义了外包服务交付的优秀标准。
